En la primavera de 1973, un grupo de entusiastas de la aviación decidieron iniciar la tarea de hacer realidad lo que para muchos no pasa de ser sino un sueño: Volar. Así nació el REAL AERO CLUB DE BURGOS que, a lo largo de los más de treinta años transcurridos desde su fundación, y dentro siempre de su modestia, ha desarrollado una incansable actividad en todas las materias relacionadas con los deportes aéreos y, particularmente, con la aviación general.
Hoy, asumiendo el reto de la incorporación a las nuevas tecnologías, queremos que este sitio pueda ser no sólo el escaparate de la realidad que nuestro Club constituye, de su historia, su actividad, su vida interna, el mundo de la aviación y los deportes aéreos y otros muchos aspectos sino, sobre todo, un cauce más de relación con y entre los socios, a quienes está fundamentalmente destinado.
Queremos, por tanto, que estas breves palabras sirvan de saludo para todos cuantos se asomen a nuestra página, a la par que de invitación sincera y cordial para quienes quieran aportar su granito de arena a enriquecerla, de manera que pueda cumplir cada vez mejor su objetivo y nos haga sentirnos legítimamente orgullosos de nuestra pertenencia al REAL AERO CLUB DE BURGOS.
